Ros Horin is a director, and writer and an important force in Australian Theatre. Her Directing career spans 3 decades, during which she has directed productions for most of the theatre companies in Australia. She has also been a lecturer in Acting at both NIDA and the VCA. Ros was the Artistic Director of Sydney’s Griffin Theatre Company for 12 years – where she established the company’s national reputation as the home of high quality, bold contemporary Australian theatre. She developed and directed over 30 new Australian plays for Griffin, many of them now considered Australian classics.
